- Add a glaze sample. Take a photo of a test tile, a finished pot with the glaze you like, or even a picture from a book. This tells Claybook what surface to apply.
- Add instructions (optional). Tell it to leave the foot ring bare, apply a thicker coat on the rim, or keep the interior unglazed. Your call.
- Generate. Claybook uses AI to combine your piece and glaze into a preview you can save, share, or compare side-by-side.

- Use even, natural lighting when photographing your piece. Avoid harsh shadows.
- For the glaze sample, close-ups of test tiles work best. The more surface detail, the better.
- If you want a specific effect (thick glaze pooling in texture, bare clay showing through on edges), describe it in the instructions field.
- Try the same piece with multiple glaze samples to compare options quickly.
