Coil build a curved vase (20 cm)

Now add shape control. Build a vase that widens in the belly and narrows at the neck.

Specifications

• Target height: ~20 cm
• Clear curve: wider in the middle, narrower at top
• Smooth interior (fully blended coils inside)

How to control the curve

• Widen: place each coil slightly outside the one below
• Narrow: place each coil slightly inside the one below
• Go slow through the transition; rushing causes wobble

Watch for

• Slumping (let it firm between sections)
• Uneven walls at the widest point
• A neck that collapses inward too fast
